From a few students to 9 then 11 afterwards 20 now 35cases. More to come still? And this's part of the reason why I skipped two days of class. Haha self-declared holidays ;) thats what I'm always good at. Which means I'm away from school bounderies for 5days straight.
Seriously, RP's system = screwed up.
Why not close down the school straight for a week or so instead of quarantining classes by classes one at a time....?
" First, RP is not a breeding ground of the virus. It was unfortunate that a few students, who caught the virus elsewhere, transmitted it to some of their fellow students. These infected students were sent for medical attention immediately. Their classmates were sent for medical testing as well. The classrooms that they were in have been disinfected and sealed.
Do note that this virus cannot survive for more than eight hours. And we have shut off those rooms for more hours than that now. The public facilities, including corridors, toilets, lifts and other common areas are sanitised by our cleaners daily. Also, the virus does not spread through the air or through airconditioning ducts. It is transmitted person to person within close proximity of two metres. You can read all about this at www.rp.sg/flu. "
- OhManzz what an effective and convincing explanation for the scenario. Since RP is well known for its PBL system. Does that mean that RP's facis and the higher authorities is undergoing PBL now, on how to deal with RP's H1N1cases? Then presntation slides to sum everything up for us? Hahah!
